The Press and Public Affairs Section offers a limited range of free publications, both in English and Ukrainian, to teachers, students, professionals and journalists in Ukraine seeking general or specific information about the UK. 15th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations
The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland was the first EU country to recognise Ukrainian independence on 31 December 1991. Diplomatic relations were established on 10 January 1992.
The bilateral relationship has thrown up many interesting facts and figures since then. Here are just 15.
