40% of Niall's job is management of the commercial section, including agreeing business plans and targets with London. He sees senior visitors and has responsibility for opportunities arising from Euro2012, for which he is also the Embassy coordinator. 60% of his job is political work, mainly energy security and climate change.

Ms Lyudmyla Bychyk, Senior Trade Development Advisor (sport and infrastructure/Euro 2012, consumer goods/retail)

Lyudmyla is initial point of contact for British businesses seeking market information on Ukraine. She interacts with Ukrainian state and local officials to promote British interests in the market. Lyudmyla also coordinates the delivery of chargeable services provided by the section. She covers sports and infrastructure/Euro 2012 and consumer goods/retail as priority sectors.

Mr Vadym Sviatnenko, Trade Development Advisor (oil & gas, energy efficiency, education & skills, agriculture, ICT)

Vadym deals with enquiries from UK and local companies and provides chargeable services to the UK customers. He covers Oil&Gas, Energy Efficiency, Education&Skills and Agriculture as priority sectors, and is the point of contact at Post for the UKTI Customer Relationship Management System.

Ms Iryna Ryzhenko, Trade Development Advisor

Iryna deals with enquiries from UK and local companies and provides chargeable overseas market introduction services to the UK customers; maintains the list of exhibitions and other trade related events in Ukraine; does web editing of commercial pages on Embassy web and the country page for Ukraine on UKTI Portal; maintains Directory of British businesses in Ukraine. Iryna is also responsible for Commercial Section resources maintenance.

Office hours (local time): Monday to Thursday 0900 - 1300 and 1400 - 1700, Friday 0900-1400 excluding Embassy Public Holidays.
